back pain

I recently went to the Wernham Clinic with terrible back pain. After just one session it was considerably better and 3 more shorter sessions have completely sorted out the problem. The treatment is given with gentle but effective movement. Additional advice on exercise and simple lifestyle changes have been very helpful to improve my general well-being.

Amazing clinic

I started getting lower back pain many years ago, a friend told me about the clinic. I was treated for a few times by John Wernham and I still go to the clinic for treatment. Very good service and great staff.

Sobbing From Pain

I found myself at The John Wernham Clinic sobbing from pain in my leg caused by a problem with my back. I had three treatments in a week and saw improvement, at least I had stopped crying. I continued weekly treatments and eventually was able to weight bear. I saw many other improvements, getting up and down, in and out of the car, an overall increase in confidence. The treatment was always gentle and thorough, including myself in every move to make sure I was comfortable. The ‘care’ I received was faultless, I did not expect to experience the ‘caring’ and I thank them.

Life changing treatment

I was fortunate to have been a patient of John Wernham's in around 2004 whilst I was a student. I had severe lower back pain running down my legs, progressively getting worse over months.
Having gone through the NHS route and facing the prospect of surgery and it's complications, I sought treatment from Mr Wernham. The care I received was exceptional, and I eventually made a full recovery (to the disbelief of the hospital consultant at a follow up scan months later). I owe a lot to the clinic and all it's amazing team.

Invaluable Help

Gary Neighbour, my only real contact with the John Wernham Clinic has been an invaluable help. Unlike most medical practitioners he looks at, and treats, the whole body and is brilliant at correcting the various misalignments. He is also very thoughtful and helpful.

Special Thanks

I have been coming to the clinic for a number of years and have found the treatments to be of great help. The staff are all so helpful. I have no hesitation recommending the clinic to anyone. Special thanks to Gary, who I see regularly.

Genuine Care, Cure and continued support.

I have been a patient for a number of years and have found great relief from treatment sessions when my back has gone into spasm. I get well, then continue treatments for a while, then stop going, possibly undoing a large proportion of the clinics hard work. When I need help again they are always understanding quick and accommodating.
Today I phoned in agony and was given an appointment for 12:00 where I saw Ludmilla. Ludmilla is a lovely lady who was sympathetic, caring and very Professional. When I arrived she had taken the time to familiarise herself with my history and took the time to update herself and my notes to cover my year long absence. I received well over an hour of her time for the usual 30 min fee. A service that is rare these days. My treatment included manipulation and advice on exercise and diet with my immediate care in mind and discussion about long term wellbeing.

I feel great!

I was told about John Wernham Osteopathy by a friend that swears by their service. I gave them a go with my dodgy neck and OMG... I feel great! My neck no longer bothers me and after letting the osteopath on the rest of my ageing body I generally feel better all round... Thank you!

Magic Happens Here

"I am in no doubt that the treatments I receive continues to help me significantly with my various 'structural' issues. The fact that I travel from Reading, a round trip of approximately 160 miles, bears testament to how amazing I think this place is."
